Polished Concrete West London

Concrete Polishing were approached by our client that was looking at installing polished concrete stairs at their project in West London.

The project was ongoing at a commercial building in Chelsea, West London . The client opted for a light grey colour with an industrial style finish.

Contractors from Concrete Polishing individually hand laid each step. Once laid contractors used handheld machinery to lightly grind the surface, ensuring minimal aggregate exposure. To create the desired industrial look that the client was looking for. Once contractors completed all grinding works, they could begin to mechanically diamond polish the stairs. Contractors refined the surface to create a satin level of gloss to the surface. Team members then added Stair treads, and contractors could then apply a specific sealer that aids with slip resistance and staining. Included in our works were also landing areas. Again, the client chose a light grey with an industrial-style finish to compliment the stairs.

This was indeed a challenging project however as you can see Concrete Polishing were able to deliver bespoke polished concrete stairs at this project in West London to the highest of standards.
