Underfloor Heating

Not only do we offer our services for the supply, placement and polishing of concrete, we offer our services to include complete sub-floor build up as well as the supply and installation of under floor heating.

Although the majority of our under floor heating installations are carried out to new concrete floors, we are able to install under floor heating to an existing concrete sub-floor.

We pride ourselves on the quality of all of our concrete polished floors so to compliment this approach we only use the most reputable under floor heating suppliers on the market. This enables us to supply a good quality and robust system but the system also comes with long warranties in which we feel peace of mind is a priority with this type of project.

Polished concrete was mainly used for industrial buildings but it’s now very popular for residential properties too. Its an economical flooring option as you are essentially using your concrete sub-base as a finished floor so there are no extra materials being brought in. Its also very efficient with under floor heating as the concrete is poured directly over the under floor heating pipes. This means the heating is integrated with the concrete floor. Due to there being no floor covering on top of the concrete such as tiles, wood etc there is no thermal bridging which would normally make the under floor heating less efficient. Concrete has a high thermal-mass, provides quick heat up times and retains heat well.
