Polished Concrete – Mid-Wales

Our client contacted us regarding a project in Mid-Wales. They were in the early stages of renovating outbuildings into commercial offices. Our client had looked into many types of floor finishes. The client, however, decided that a polished concrete floor was the best option for their project in Mid-Wales. Polished concrete was the clients chosen finish due to it being hard-wearing, low maintenance and aesthetically pleasing.

Concrete Polishing installed, finished and polished the concrete.  The clients chosen type of finish was the Exposed Aggregate Finish.  Where aggregate in the concrete is visible.

Once the concrete had been laid contractors were then, therefore able to power float the surface. Contractors then left the surface to cure for around 28 days. The surface is then ready for contractors to mechanically diamond polish the floor. Contactors achieved the exposed aggregate finish by firstly heavy grinding the surface. After the grinding stage is complete contractors then begin to mechanically polish the floor. Once complete, contractors can apply a concrete sealer. This helps with slip and stain resistance.

This polished concrete floor in Mid-Wales was created using the Husqvarna HIPERFLOOR® system throughout.

As you can see the results were brilliant! Concrete Polishing completed expectations of the clients, all within budget and timescale.
