Polished Concrete Overlay – London

Our client approached Concrete Polishing to supply, place and polish this cementitious polished concrete overlay in London. This commercial polished concrete was for Hugo Boss at their store on Oxford Street.

Due to the existing floor at the store being in a poor state it was therefore not possible for contractors to mechanically diamond polish the existing floor. Therefore, a cementitious polished concrete overlay at the store in London was the most subtitle option.

Contractors carried out the preparation. Then, therefore, contractors could place the polished concrete overlay at approximately a 15mm depth. Once placed, the cementitious polished concrete overlay could then be mechanically diamond polished by contractors. In the same manner as what a conventional polished concrete floor would be.

Our client opted for a light grey colour with specific types of aggregate chosen. Full aggregate exposure could be seen.
