Polished Concrete Flooring

Concrete Polishing were approached by our client that was wanting Polished Concrete Flooring at their new build property in Cheshire. After looking at all options of polished concrete including conventional concrete and cementitious overlay’s. Our client felt that a cementitious overlay was best suited for their project in Cheshire instead of conventional concrete.

Contractors from Concrete Polishing installed the cementitious overlay in Cheshire. The overlay was trowelled by the team and placed at a 10mm depth. The client opted for a mid grey colour, rustic style finish to a mid gloss.

Contractors from Concrete Polishing prepped the slab using a specific method, placed the polished concrete overlay flooring, and then therefore trowelled the overlay in the same manner as conventional concrete.

Polished Concrete is a fantastic flooring option for a kitchen/dining area. Some benefits of polished concrete flooring include minimal maintenance, and any spillages are easily cleaned, not altering the floor’s aesthetics.
