Our client approached Concrete Polishing, who was in the process of renovating a commercial space.A polished concrete floor Birmingham was their preferred choice.

Due to the area being a commercial restaurant space, our client therefore needed a flooring choice that was slip resistant, stain resistant and of course aestetically pleasing. Polished Concrete fulfils all of the client’s needs.

Our client had chosen a Rustic Style Finish for their polished concrete floor in Birmingham. This particular type of finish has no aggregate exposed. Concrete Polishing initially carried out lighter stages of grinding. This was to ensure that the floor was level. Due to the type of finish chosen and no aggregate exposed, the level of mechanical diamond polishing was minimal. This therefore ensures that there is no aggregate exposure.

Polished Concrete Floor System Used

The polished concrete floor in Birmingham was achieved using the Husqvarna HIPERFLOOR® system. Site could therefore performed light grinding stages, and minimal concrete repairs. Contractors produced a level and aesthetically pleasing polished concrete floor. Contractors then applied the concrete sealer. The concrete sealer helps with slip and stain resistance, important factors that the client specified.
